Graduation... the end of my life as i know it

We decided to take a picture while waiting to go into the spectrum of all the Interior Design graduates! We found ourselves spray painting damask patterns on our hats just moments before graduation. I think we left a nice pattern on the parking lot as well. We have graduated! It was actually kind of a sad time for all of us as we said our goodbyes. Me and Steve- Professor of the year! I couldn't have asked for better teachers.

Top of the A 5K

It was A week this week and my Shannon, Natalie, Chris and I ran the Top of the A 5k at midnight. I love midnight runs, i get my best times late at night. Despite the freezing cold, it was a good run and although i tried so hard to keep up with Chris, he finished almost three minutes before me.

"It isn't as bad as you sometimes think it is. It all works out. Don't worry. I say that to myself every morning. It all works out in the end. Put your trust in God, and move forward with faith and confidence in the future. The Lord will not forsake us. He will not forsake us. If we will put our trust in Him, if we will pray to Him, if we will live worthy of His blessings, He will hear our prayers." --President Hinckley

Interior Design Photo Shoot

Last week the Senior Interior Design class had a big photo shoot in salt lake for Senior Exhibit. I hate pictures, and feel like such a nerd when there is a camera in my face. We had Russ Dixon Photography do all the work, and he took over 600 pictures! We had group shots of the 18 of us and then our individual shots. I will post some group shots when I get them.

Moab 1/2 Marathon

I made it accross the finish line! I ran my first 1/2 marathon in Moab. My mom and I ran together and our finishing time was 1:54. Honestly, I was just glad I finished.

The Spring Brek Trip with no real plans and no real final destination... 1. Stopping in Sataquin for "The World's Best Ice Cream" 2. Making a special stop to take a free tour of Cove Fort. 3. Getting back on the freeway after Cove Fort- is not always easy. 4. A sunny hike in Snow Canyon- we love self timered pictures. 5. Hiking through lava tubes, too bad we didn't have a flashlight. 6. They recoded our keys and we were locked out of out room. 7. Happy to be in Mesquite...before going into Eureka. 8. Sad that we are not good at slots and lost 2$. 9. The only restaurant we ate ate, Texas Roadhouse! We each ate plenty of rolls. 10. We looked at stars on our beautiful floral comforter. 11. Playing in the pool, okay maybe just the hot tub. 12. Visiting Quail Lake on the drive home, who knew there was a Quail Lake?
