The Proposal Story
Following dinner, they both decided to take a quick walk around the beautiful grounds. There were bridges and trees, fountains and animals. Then in the distance were some vibrant red flowers. Waiting just a minute to make sure they were indeed for her, (because that could create an akward moment had they not been) Jen told Clay the flowers were gorgeous and that he really made such a great night out.
As they were preparing to leave, or as Jen thought they were preparing to leave. Clay said that there was one more thing. The thought of a ring didn't even cross Jen's mind, she expected a card or a cd mix, or something of the sort. But then, Clay was down on a knee and he asked the big question.100% suprised, Jen made sure it was the real deal by asking if he was serious, followed by the question if he was for real. But after two seconds of shock Jen said yes. Clay might say the color went right out of Jen's face, but she would probably beg to differ.
They walked back towards the car and a few minutes later were picked up in a fancy black limo. Jen had never ridden in one before and it was quite the ride! In the car they watched a video Clay had made of all his family and Jen's family saying Congratulations and welcome to the family! Jen absolutely loved it!
Their ride arrived at the Melting Pot for dessert. Jen and Clay then enjoyed fruits and cakes dipped in a Turtle chocolate fonue. Yummy!!
And there it is, the story of the day Clay asked Jen to marry him and she said YES! It is too bad they forgot to take any pictures:)
